The Printing and Packaging Materials Division of Disai has long focused on the research, development, and promotion of water-based, low-VOC products, making it one of the earliest domestic companies to successfully develop water-based varnishes. Its Disait series of water-based varnishes not only delivers exceptional gloss, abrasion resistance, and scratch resistance but also fully complies with increasingly stringent environmental standards. The series encompasses three major categories and more than forty models, compatible with a wide range of printing processes—including offset, gravure, and flexographic printing—and is widely used in sectors such as print packaging, home décor, and consumer electronics. It provides safe, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally friendly surface protection and value‑adding solutions for products in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, and electronic appliances.

Disai New Materials’ functional water-based varnishes—featuring wear resistance, temperature resistance, slip resistance, and anti‑sticking properties—have been successfully adopted for the cardboard packaging of leading beer brands such as Budweiser, Tsingtao, Snow, and Yanjing, as well as renowned consumer goods brands including Wahaha, Wanglaoji, and Jiaduobao, continuously driving the industry toward greater environmental sustainability and higher performance.
